Compared with solid bolt, riveting head has the following advantages:

1) The clamping force of the joint is more symmetrical, which improves the fatigue limit of the joint.

2) Riveting does not cause impact force, and can rivet some raw materials (such as plastic and carbon fiber materials, polymer materials) which are easily damaged by impact. Two problems must be paid attention to when using key or key rivet connection

1) In the riveting connection, if the difference between the electrode potential of the two raw materials touching each other is very big (such as the contact between aluminum nail and thick steel plate or the contact between aluminum nail and steel plate), it will cause serious power engineering. Chemical corrosion. The solution to this problem is to apply appropriate bolt coating or appropriate countermeasures in the middle of RF connector, such as adding sealing ring, painting and maintaining vulcanized rubber. 2) In some components related to the actual operation safety of commodities, such as diesel engine, electric motor or gas turbine, or the short circuit fault of electrical products, it is very likely to cause major accidents. If each component of blind bolt is damaged (such as bolt), and the residual core falls down under obvious shock vibration, the residue is likely to fall into the operation organization Rivet connection is not suitable.

Open rivet connection. After the bolt is riveted, the journal is broken at the junction or periphery of the spindle head and the journal rod, and a small part of the spindle head and the journal rod is stored in the bolt body. Its shear strength is similar to that of hollow bolt connector.

Closed rivet connection. After the bolt is riveted, the bolt body remains closed. After sealing measures are adopted between the bolt body and the contact surface of the connecting parts, the structure can be used for sealing connection, and the blind rivets of drum brake can be connected together. After riveting the bolt, the top of the bolt body is drum shaped, which improves the tensile and shear strength.

Key rivet connection. During riveting, the bolt is first inserted into the hole of the connector, and then the core of the highlighted bolt body is knocked into the bolt body until it is flush with the wall top of the bolt body. At this time, the top of the bolt body expands to produce blind bolt. This kind of connection makes the installation quick and reasonable, the installation is extremely simple, does not need the unique installation special tool, the installation cost is extremely low.
